Ingredient Update: Rooibos Tea Extract
Rooibos Tea is a powerful player in the team of antioxidants. Recently, Japanese scientists found that Rooibos Tea contains a mimic of the enzyme Super Oxide Dismutase (S.O.D.) which is an antioxidant that attached the free radicals and limits their damaging effects on the skin. Rooibos is rich in antioxidants and contains 11 times more antioxidants than Green Tea and other conventional extracts. Antioxidants are known for fighting free radical damage, prevent premature aging and get rid of harmful toxins in the skin. Rooibos Tea contains important anti aging ingredients like Alpha Hydroxy acids, zinc and Vitamin B5.
