skincare tips and recommendations

As estheticians we know, skincare can be expensive! Do you have clients that want to transform their skin but need to stay on a budget? Well, we are here to help! Below, find skincare tips on how to keep your client in their preferred price range along with inexpensive product recommendations for your spa.

Tip #1
Offer a treatment plan that is simple and effective for their skin. If you cannot upsell a package series of enzyme complexion peels or other costly treatments, give them the option for a routine facial treatment or even a mini version facial that is 25-30 minutes long. Explain what reasonable expectations they must have. The more frequently they can come in the more positive results they will see. Remember to take pictures to keep track of progress.

Signature Facial Protocol– A feasible treatment plan that will polish the skin by removing those dead skin cells. This will help to keep their skin healthy each month without it costing too much on you and your client.

Tip #2
If they cannot come in every month, offer a package deal for facial treatments. Once you know their budget, see what will work for the both of you. You still need to make a profit! Depending on your demographics, you could offer a deal package of buy 4 facials at $99 each. This will allow them to get started. Make it a one time deal or continue it as long as you see fit.

Tip #3
Go easy on the skincare routine. Offer 1-2 products you know will help their skin concerns. Opt for a treatment serum over selling them a cleanser. One good product can go a long way for their skin. Some personalities will not use too many products. If you can get them to really use a couple of key products you recommend, they can see benefits.
