Are you ready for Fall?

It’s the most important time of year for your business. Did you know the holiday season is when businesses make about 19% of their annual revenue?  By planning and getting organized we can finish strong this year.  Here is a quick list of items we can do to take full advantage of this crucial time of year.

Holiday season to do list:

  • Plan Specials & Sales
  • Setup events – In-person and Online
  • Order retail and supplies you will need
  • Create your email and social media campaigns

Plan specials and sales and get them on the calendar.  By planning and executing you can avoid what happens to most of us.  Letting time go by and not executing the sales schedule can create missed opportunities.  Most people do their Christmas shopping before Black Friday and Cyber Monday. October and November is the time to get your promotions out and get the services, product and gift cards sold.

Setup in-person and online events. These can be a holiday open house, client appreciation day/week or online event people can participate in.  An example of an online event is like a facebook or instagram live where you show products and demo a treatment or procedure.

Once I did a bingo for a spa I managed and it was a lot of fun.  We had people sign up for the bingo before the day.  Sent them the card and did a live bingo. Each spot on the card had a product or procedure we spoke about briefly.  We made if fun by masking our faces and chatting. Once participants got a bingo they put it in the comments.  We had someone in our office keeping track.  There are many things we can do today.

Order retail and supplies you need.  Don’t loose any retail sales this season.  You can’t sell what you don’t have.  Look at past years or past months and see what you will need for this season.

If you haven’t started your own brand, you still have time. Our turn around time is 2 weeks. Click here for more info: Private Label Information . Contact us with any questions or to send us your logo  info@aestheticbackbar.com.

If you do any special holiday facials or treatments, get the supplies needed.  We have a great Rose and Pumpkin treatments which are great giftable facial treatments.

Create your email and social media campaigns.  This is an easy one to slip by if you are a one man band or if you have a small business.  Setting up your email and social campaigns can remind customers what you have to offer.  Let them know how you can help them with their skin and gift giving.  Make things easy for them to schedule and purchase from you.

Don’t have a lot of time to do this daily, schedule it.  You can use programs like Canva or Hootsuite to schedule. There are many more.  I love Canva because you can design something really easy, schedule it and share to your social accounts.

For email check your scheduling system it may have an email marketing feature. Other email campaign options are Aweber, Constant Contact and Mail Chimp.  Use services that are easy to use. The easier it is to create an email campaign the more likely you will use it and be successful.

Have any other question or ideas?  Please share. Send us a message on facebook, instagram or email.  Info@aestheticbackbar.com
