Fall Is Exfoliation Season

Fall Is Exfoliation Season: How to Build an Enzyme Complexion Peel Series Clients Book Again and Again

Every fall, clients walk in with the same complaints: dull skin, rough texture, dark spots and the tired look summer leaves behind. Fall exfoliation treatments are how you fix it, and the timing couldn’t be better.

Why Fall Is the Best Time for Exfoliation

  • Less sun. Shorter days and fewer hours outdoors mean clients aren’t spending weekends at the pool or the lake. That makes it easier to keep newly exfoliated skin protected while it renews.
  • Summer damage is showing. Sun spots, uneven tone and buildup from months of sweat and sunscreen are all visible now.
  • Clients are planning ahead. The holidays are coming, and clients want their best skin for parties, photos and family gatherings. A series that starts in October finishes right on time.

Choose Your Exfoliation Level

We carry three exfoliating masks that build on each other, from gentlest to strongest. That makes it easy to start a client gently and step up as her skin adjusts.

Level 1: Revitalizing Enzyme Mask (papaya and pineapple) The gentlest option, with fruit enzymes and no acid. It’s suitable for sensitive and acne-prone skin, and it works well after dermaplaning or microdermabrasion. Use for: first-time clients, sensitive skin, and maintenance between stronger treatments.

Level 2: Retexturizing Enzyme Mask (Pumpkin & 5% Glycolic) Our fall favorite and the star of the Pumpkin Enzyme Complexion Peel. Pumpkin fruit is the first ingredient, paired with 5% glycolic acid, vitamins C and E, and a warming blend of cassia, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cardamom that clients feel working. Use for: dullness, sun damage and uneven texture. It also works on hands, body and feet.

Level 3: Radiant Rose Gel Mask (10% Glycolic) The strongest exfoliant in our line. It’s a clean five-ingredient gel of rose water, 10% glycolic acid and konjac. Leave it on 5 minutes only; a light tingling is normal. Use for: rough texture, congestion and signs of aging, on clients whose skin is already used to exfoliation. Not for sensitive skin.

Build a Fall Exfoliation Series

One treatment brightens. A series changes the skin, and it keeps clients coming back. Here’s a simple plan:

SessionTreatmentWhy
1Revitalizing Enzyme MaskStarts gently and shows you how her skin responds
2Retexturizing/Pumpkin Enzyme Complexion PeelSteps up to 5% glycolic
3Retexturizing Pumpkin Enzyme Complexion PeelBuilds results
4Radiant Rose Gel (if her skin is ready)Delivers the most resurfacing before the holidays

Many estheticians space sessions about two weeks apart. A series that starts in mid-October finishes in early December, just in time for holiday events.

Sell it as a package. If a single treatment is $95, a four-session package at $340 (about 10% off) books $340 upfront and fills four appointments before the end of the year. This is an example only. Use your own menu prices.

Name It So It Sells

Clients book treatments with names that sound like a result. Try:

  • Pumpkin Enzyme Complexion Peel: the seasonal favorite
  • Rose Glow Resurfacing Treatment: for the Radiant Rose Gel Mask
  • Holiday Glow Exfoliation Series: the four-session package

The word “pumpkin” alone gets fall bookings, so feature it on your menu, social posts and front desk sign.

Before and After: Keep Clients Comfortable

Before treatment:

  • Ask clients to pause retinol and other at-home exfoliants for a few days beforehand.
  • Follow your usual consultation and contraindication checklist (recent sunburn, broken skin, active flare-ups, and prescription retinoid use).
  • Patch-test new clients, especially before the Radiant Rose Gel.

After treatment, in the treatment room:

  • Calm the skin with the Hydration Support Moisturizing Mask (centella, oat and aloe).
  • Finish with Restorative Hydrating Cream (hemp, centella and panthenol) and SPF.

Send them home with:

That’s three or four retail products that follow naturally from the treatment, with no hard sell.
