Our Story
Our founder, Wendy Garcia Polo, is a licensed esthetician with 30 years of hands-on experience. From front desk and manager to laser technician, solo practitioner, and medical spa owner. That journey gave her a firsthand understanding of what professionals in this industry truly need.
Along the way, she kept running into the same frustration: minimum orders of $500 or more, and no way to reorder a single item when you ran out. For larger spas, inconvenient. For small businesses and solo estheticians, a real barrier.
She also noticed clients returning and mentioning they had bought their recommended products online or at a big box store, revenue that should have stayed in the treatment room.
With 30 years as an esthetician and a business degree in Information Systems, Wendy set out to build something better. Sixteen years ago, Aesthetic Back Bar was born.
The mission was simple: give estheticians and spas access to professional-quality, natural skincare with low minimums, so that businesses of every size could stock their back bar, offer private label products to clients, and keep their revenue in house.
What We Believe
At Aesthetic Back Bar, we believe the best results come when nature and science work together. Our formulas are built on the philosophy that blending natural botanicals with clinical-grade actives gives skin exactly what it needs; gentle enough to respect the skin barrier, effective enough to deliver visible results.
We are not fans of unnecessary fillers, synthetic fragrances, or harsh chemicals. Fragrance is one of the most common causes of skin sensitivity and irritation, which is why you will not find it in our formulas. Clean, purposeful ingredients only.
